In my own words

I’m a 6-foot, fearless mom who's way more than just a fashion girl! What matters most to me? I'm a confident woman who loves to laugh, get dressed up for dinner, and discover restaurants with beautiful aesthetics.

But above all, I’m all about creating unforgettable moments with my daughter.

Whether I’m strutting through the grocery aisle or on a panel adding value, I'm always living life fully.

My Career

Now, let's talk about careers. Fashion has been my passion since I was 5, flipping through Vogue and Harper’s Bazaar at my grandmother’s house. With over 15 years of experience in retail; wardrobe styling for editorials, commercials, and celebrities; and even fashion design, I'm dedicated to celebrating style in every way I can.

I didn’t choose this multi-PASSIONATE life — it chose me.

As a woman from Cincinnati, Ohio, I’ve always been determined to carve my own path. Growing up without a lot of resources or mentors, I knew I had to be resourceful, make my own way, and stay ready for every opportunity that came my way.

I didn’t choose this multi-PASSIONATE life — it chose me.

My journey in fashion started 20 years ago, with my first job as a sales associate at Nine West. It was there that my love for shoes evolved into a deeper passion for all things style. From there, I moved to H&M, where I discovered my true calling in visual merchandising, eventually becoming the Visual Lead for the Midwest region.

Along the way, I made it a point to give back — mentoring and consulting for Black-owned small businesses and striving to create opportunities for others.

Everything I do is about building meaningful connections and making a positive impact on the fashion industry.

As the founder of SHINGO LABEL, I’m proud of our mission to uplift and empower, especially in the Black community. We even received a proclamation for our commitment to this cause, and I’m humbled by the recognition.

With my background as a wardrobe stylist, visual merchandiser, and retail consultant, I bring a unique perspective to fashion. And now, with my brand available on SHEIN, I’m beyond excited that women across the globe can wear my designs— and walk through the world with the confidence they deserve.

My mission is simple: I want women to feel confident, express their true selves, and wear clothing that empowers them to show up as their authentic selves.
